2000: ”Enter
Weinstock,” one of the original Cityscapes one- acts:

Went on to a full equity-showcase
production at The Pulse Ensemble Theatre in Manhattan in Feb. 2000 with
the 2 original Temple Players’ leads.

That same year, came in #5 in
the top 10 scripts (out of 100 winners around the world) in the Writer’s
Digest International Script Writing Competition.
2002: “Call Me
Bernice,” the second original Cityscapes one act:

Was produced Off-Off Broadway
at Raw Space in NYC in Spotlight On Production’s 2002 Winter Festival in
March 2002.

Went on to win the Sage Playwright’s
Award for Best Original One Act of 2002.
2006: "Little
Sister," one of the "Tribal Families" plays:

Won an Honorable Mention
award in the international Writer's Digest Script Writing Competiton
2007: "Ben's Story,"
one of the "Tribal Families" plays:

Was a semi-finalist in the Samuel
French One Act Playwrighting Competition produced at the Chernuchin Theater
in NYC in June.
In 2007, The Temple Players
won The Solomon Schecter Award from United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism.
The group was awarded first place (the Gold Award) in the category of "Performing
Arts." |
